Found these pretty close to a bog, in grass... not sure what these are maybe you guys can help me out?

I will post spore prints when i make them.

My guess is some type of Agrocybe, been seeing lots of A. praecox lately... A. pediades is another possibility.

i found a stretch near the water that is just absolutely COVERED in these shrooms

I'm with DH on these. They look a lot like Agrocybe praecox, a common spring mushroom.

a.praecox? never seen it before...

little information on a.praecox as written in Mushrooms Demystified...

- Edible, but not recommended.
- Originaly called Pholiota praecox

NOT active...

just some info if it is indeed that.
