I want to meet other psychonauts within driving distance of NC

I am an70 year old man looking for others I could meet in person to talk about magic mushrooms or other hallucinogens.  It has been almost 50 years since I used LSD.  I would like to be part of a group to explore again.  Does anybody know of any way to get in touch with some like minded people.  I live in eastern NC and travel to the middle of NC often on weekends.  I am a very friendly person and just need some others with whom I can explore these issues before I get too old to do so.  Any ideas would be welcome.

I think you'd have a far easier time connecting with people by going to festivals and/or events that draw like-minded sorts-- but asking these questions on the internet is likely to come off as suspicious.
