Hi, this is my first post.
I found these mushrooms while walking around town in New Jersey. Unfortunately they were already quite dry. I wonder if you could help me identify them.
Habitat: wood chips in a flowerbed on the sidewalk of a New Jersey.
Gills: unable to identify Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Stem: Length: 2.3 inches (6 cm) Diameter: 0.2 inches (0,5 cm)
Cap: Diameter: 2 inches (5 cm), tan color
Spore print color: too dry, unable to get spore print
Bruising: none, probably too dry
Many thanks!
