A few finds
    #26067972 - 06/22/19 07:36 PM (1 year, 8 months ago)

Good afternoon. Im brand new here and I'm hoping to get some help. I found these few different kinds of mushrooms today and I have no experience to ID. The small ones were in my steel shed, and the rest are on a hay/ horse manure pile.

Only the big ones have spores but I can't get a good print. It seems mostly jet black. All the other caps seem empty.

Thanks for your help.

The first ones from the left in the second picture look like Panaeolus antillarum. Not sure about the other ones.

There hasn't been much change. No bruising on any of them. The pink slimy ones are now kind of brown and not slimy. Other than that pretty much unchanged.

Going left to right on the second photo...
1. Panaeolus semiovatus.

2. Looks like a coprinoid species. Any more mature ones?

3. Bolbitius titubans.

4. Looks like Entoloma sp.

5. Conocybe sp.

"In the BBC series "Wild Food", Gordon Hillman related an incident where he was accidentally given a sample of Psathyrella instead of edible mushrooms. After consuming the mushrooms, Hillman drank a glass of beer and suffered an adverse reaction, suffering blue-and-white monochrome vision followed by memory problems and breathing difficulties. Hillman wrote the name of the fungus on a piece of paper which he attached to his chest and later recovered after having his stomach pumped." holly shit

Duggstar, those were the only ones like that but they were within the ones on the left.
