My guess is that if the robot is remote controlled, and hence receiving radio waves, then no commands will be received until the robot slows down below the speed of light. So whatever commands were give wouldn't be enacted until the radio waves could catch up, and they could only do that if the robot was moving at a speed less than the speed of light.

My 2c anyway.

as demonstrated in quantum mechanics, consciousness and the act of perceptual registration directly impact the quantum continuum through interactions via the wave function and through entanglement...

this demonstration you speak of - probably does not include the word consciousness - can you link or reference?

How quantum brain biology can rescue conscious free will

Physics and Philosophy, Werner Heisenberg

the proposed idea is that the brain and consciousness have a wave function.

consciousness can therefore be viewed as a filter which is selecting which fragments of the quantum continuum it perceives as real.  consciousness is the filter between the possible to the actual. the observing mind is interacting with the quantum continuum to perceive temporal sequences, which include the illusion of the past and the future.

according to Heisenberg, these acts of "sensory registration" select a fragment of the infinite quantum possibilities and experience it as real, but this is only to the mind at the moment of registration.

the conclusion here is then that "past present future" are a manifestation of consciousness which is entangled with time-space and the quantum continuum.

consciousness is consciousness of something

and consciousness can be conscious of not being that object that it is conscious of.

by knowing what it isn't, consciousness may know what it is not, which helps to find what is.

this consciousness of not being the object can be considered the "collapse function"

which results in discontinuity within the continuum: consciousness of consciousness being conscious.

Quantum entanglement happens immediately entangled particles respond to their counterpart instantaneously regardless of the amount of space time between them quantum computers built to communicate to each other in this manner would not be slowed by any distance and therefore by time

This means we could send Annedroids into the future and they could report back to us “in theory”

some scientists believed very strange things, such as Jesus dying for our sins. I would have to lump Heisenberg with that - the syllogism is similar to the following: since both elephants and people have weight, then, obviously they can mate (weight and mate rhyme on a quantum level) and have baby Ganeshis, and this is supported by the theory of quantum hybridization (just to add real metaphysics to this meaningless equation).

(even though there are thousands of different breeds of dogs, they are really one species - this supports the idea of mammalian quantum hybridization)

garbage in garbage out explains this comment of mine - believe not a word of what I wrote here. we don't fuck elephants (usually).

some worlds adhere to logic that may be outside of human understanding.

"quantum foundations" is the study of what quantum mechanics really means. - how are we to understand and interpret quantum theory?

the problem is the concepts of measurement and observation are almost vexed.

what are the connections between the dry objective field of classical physics, and the juicy subjective world of human experience?

it just may be impossible to separate the answers we get from the questions we ask to obtain them.  the properties that we observe, can't be ascribed to just an object itself, they are influenced by the sorts of questions that we ask about the properties!

Einstein hated the Copenhagen Interpretation so much that he called it an "epistemology soaked orgy".

explaining the infinite can be crude. although there are numerous examples within mathematics.

take pi for instance, an infinite (endless) non-repeating numeral, that can be envisioned by a finite number of points along the tangent to the curve.
each point representing a seemingless infinite although finite probable outcomes to its unique reality. a singular point only in direct connection to adjacent points on either side of it. the reality of these points may experience bleed-through, resulting in a consciousness sharing.

all other points connect in the same manner sharing their reality with only the points adjacent to it. as the circle expands via time and movement, consciousness expands the point to maintain connectivity to its adjacent points.

the issue then becomes one of diminishing probabilities.

for within the multiplicity of points along the tangent of the curve experiencing their own unique reality, the finite number of probabilities are being reduced at an exponential rate.

when all the probabilities of the possible have been expired, a connection between points will become separated. this separation is a moment of unknown transitions.

the unforeseeable problem becomes one of limited connections (bleed-over) from the reality of the point next to our reality.

this limited view of what is transpiring along all the other points along the tangent, leaves us guessing and in the dark in regards to how fast the limited number of probabilities are expiring. in other words, we will not see a separation of connection occurring unless we or the points of connection to either side of us are actually responsible for the separation. if a point 180° opposite of us is responsible for separation, we will only experience the aftermath without warning.

If I do not understand gravity, and I do not understand women, then that implies that gravity is the same thing as women using this magical syllogistical method of thinking.
luckily I am not so silly as to believe that if I drop my computer it will fall on a woman.

gravity appears to be transparent.

women seem to be ambiguous.

since gravity has no dependance on matter,

isn't it ambiguously clear what will happen when you drop your computer?

Gravity has dependence on matter, in both Newtonian physics and relativity. Matter tells space how to curve, and that curvature of space tells matter how to move.

"ambiguously clear" is an oxymoron.

Gravitational waves were detected for the first time just a few years ago. We understand time better than gravity

The discovery of gravitational waves in 2016 was a confirmation of a theory that had already predicted them a hundred years earlier. I don't think we understand time or gravity very well.

Well sure just like the discovery of the HB. Doesn’t mean it’s not still a big deal. There are lots of Theories that have now been disproven. The HB solidified the standard model however several discoveries have Been made over the last few years that contradict it & lean more towards something like string theory. I fear we will destroy ourselves in the search. They want to increase the power @ cern 10 fold to look for black holes in quantum foam. This could tear apart reality possibly.... we don’t know what will happen. Best case Scenario we find them and prove there is a bleedthrough of energy thus proving there are alternate realities layered on top of ours which accounts for the additional energy that so far we cannot understand

I don't mean to diminish the discovery of gravitons and LIGO. I love following LIGO. I was just addressing your rather glib point about their just being discovered. Who knows what will happen at CERN. I'm not holding my breath. I think LIGO and VIRGO are more promising for advancing science.

i think you're confusing mass with matter.

mass is itself a source of the gravitational field.

yes, a field effect.

the spectrum of gravity extends well beyond the spectrums of light, electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear.

a field is the basis for matter creation.

waves have a constructive influence on matter when they superimpose or interact by creating other waves.

an explosion of protons, neutrons or electrons will produce the spin necessary to create light within a field.

the higgs field\boson particle is described as a wave within a wave.

this implies that  one characteristic of a field is a wave(motion).

fields are neutral, containing no charge or spin; however when this ubiquitous glue of neutral fields experiences a disruption by an outside strong force of motion; fields compress into adjacent fields.

this produces a wave within a wave, a higgs field.

the higgs field produces a particle called a boson which is another name for matter.

this resultant boson acquires spin from the force of motion of a wave within a wave.

the product of this extremely short lived higgs boson particle within this dimension, is light.

it is light that imbues itself with a dual electromagnetic property.

i love ambiguous clarity.

All matter has mass, except light. Mass is really a measurement of the inertia of matter. I didn't know we were splitting hairs.
