Liberty cap identification (First time picking)
    #26057817 -

Hi we went out for our first pick after reading of a great place locally to pick liberty caps.

Although it's mid June the past two weeks had been heavily raining and again on the day, we went picking so we were hopeful and sure enough some mushrooms were growing at the spot suggested.

The mushrooms we picked were simular to pictures online to liberty caps with the size bendy stalk and nipple on the top however the cone shape ehad isn't quite the same so I though I would post a pic and check with you guys to see if we were getting the right thing.

Here is a picture of the mushies we picked (ignore the glitter it turns out there was some glitter in the bag )

Here are picture of the mushrooms we picked.

Please let us know if they are liberty caps and if not please give us some pointers for next time.

thanks

I see a mixed collection. None are psilocybe semilanceata, but I see perhaps a mix of panaeolus olivaceus, panaeolus fimicola, and panaeolus foenisecii

Assuming you're in the northern hemisphere, it's still way too early to look for libs.
