Best option for preserving cakes while on vacation.

Hey guys, I'm in the middle of my first grow and unfortunately, a busy summer is starting to interfere with my new hobby. I have 10 BRF cakes that just finished their second flush. This is when I would normally dunk and start the 3rd flush, but I am leaving town on Wednesday for 10 days and don't have anyone that can give the little fellas the attention they require. I've been reading the forums for the past 2 days and have seen myriad opinions on various scenarios but nothing real concrete. It seems that a lot of people are of the opinion that placing them in the fridge will stall the 3rd flush until I can get back. BUT, most of those suggestions have been for shorter periods and I've read an equal number of posts with people concerned about the contams in a refrigerator. Sooo, my question is, to make the most of a bad situation, can I put the cakes in individual mason jars filled with water in the fridge to stall them in the cold and protect them? Will the extended dunk drown them or will sealing them allow anaerobic contams to flourish? I also have a vacuum sealer if the water would be a bigger problem than the lack of air flow. If sitting in the fridge without being sealed is the best hope, I do have a small beverage fridge that I can empty and disinfect the hell out of. Would recasing help protect them in that scenario?
I don't have super high hopes of picking up where I'm leaving off, but anything y'all can suggest to maximize my chances would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Thought I would share a follow up with my experience just in case someone does a future search looking for the same help.
Disclaimer, I have no idea if what I did was correct or if I just dodged a bullet, but, a day before I left (and just after the second flush) I dunked the cakes for a few hours. While they soaked, I emptied and disinfected the hell out of a small beverage refrigerator and stored the cakes, unwrapped, in there for roughly 12 days while gone. When I returned, I redunked and went back to the fruiting chamber. There was zero contam and they responded as well as I could have hoped and I just finished a solid 3rd flush. Again, no idea if right or wrong, but hope my experience can maybe help someone in the future.
Cheers

Best thing to do is the put them in the fridge in some kind of light-tight container and hope for the best
