Let’s ask how many time our Argentinian friend has lost power living in Argentina. Let’s ask everyone.

I’d guess in my life I’ve been through at least a couple dozen blackout of more than a half day

I lived in Montreal we had a massive blackout caused by the infamous solar storm of 1989

Ok well I live in the United States and have lived in many states. The last time I lost power for more than a day was hurricane Hugo and I wasn't old enough to remember.

In Houston power would go out for a few hours usually from some drunk hitting a pole or in brutal storms.

The East Coast gets a lot of blackouts probably cause theres so much damn people and the intrastructure over there is so old.

I havent had many blackouts in my life, most last a couple hours or less.

I found an old map from 1903 of my area and the high tension power lines that run from the power plant to the inner suburbs were on the map. Not saying they haven’t replaced those lines, but some of this stuff has been around for over a hundred years

They were having a problem with underground explosions in DC because some of those lines were from the 1800s. Some of the underground stuff in cities has never been upgraded.

member when houses in Boston blew up. I think like two people died in that. I think the story was instead of upgrading shit they just stole all the money. Those people died but nobody prob went to jail the guy prob resigned maybe after he made all the money so its whatever I guess :shrug:
