Starting a new patch in Melbourne - Psilocybe Subaeruginosa
    #26053452 -

Hello everyone,

Trying to create a few more active patches around where I live because why not. Near my house I have the perfect environment for growing subs - local park that gets tons of rainfall with plenty of woodchips and tree cover. Checked it out today to bury a few subs from another patch of mine and found that it is completely overrun by L Ceres and Mycena species. Will this make growing subs here hard? That is to say, do L Ceres/Mycena sp and Subs compete for room? I am quite eager to get some subs growing here as it is a very hospitable mushroom environment, it even has the odd amanita sp show up. Park is in the inner SE suburbs for anyone curious. Can provide some pictures tomorrow if that would make the question easier to answer.

Cheers

Planted some mycelium around but apparently it can take a year or two to show results
