hey ive been wondering, doesn anyone know if i went to my local farm and stole some cow poo and formed it into cakes and put it in my back yard and then injected spores into it if the spores would crow into musrhooms?

Shroom spores don't germinate worth a damn on cow poo!! Poo makes an excellent substrate for spawning colonized grain or even PF cakes into but the old mix it up and throw it in back yard tek is just a waste of time. Anyone who tells you different is just feeding you an ill informed line of bullshit!! HA! If that poop thief was to mix some cononized grain into his stolen bounty he may have a shot at the backyard thing. Plenty of info on this in the TEKS>
