You should grow yourself some..! You wont regret it. The potency can be crazy. I have found they hardly blob and dont need a true casing (a pseudocasing works wonders for them though)

Delicious store bought or garden fresh? I am going to have a shitload of ghost peppers and jalapenos out of the garden soon I was thinking of doing some pickled eggs with sliced ghost and jalapeno peppers. I tried pickling portabellas once they were pretty damn good I thought.

Strait from the garden. Most everything got a good head start in the garage this year. Pickling and canning has always been my cover for having jars everywhere. I like hot peppers too. Have some carolina reaper, chocolate habanero,Thai chili, jalapeno, and a "cool"apeno for the wife. I like to make a spicy carrot/onion/pepper pickled snack with different peppers. I'm excited to make some hot pickled okra this year. But some spicy pickled eggs sound pretty delicious! Also have tomatoes going and gonna try loofa this year.

Oh man pickled okra is delicous. Like 90% of my garden is tomatoes but I always throw in some random peppers and some lettuce and onions etc. I like to make garden fresh salsa but if my harvest is anything like it was last year im going to need to take a couple loads to the farmers market lol.

My first PE6 was like that-

But my second PE6 ended up sporulating only after I left it to go a few days past what I normally would

Probably some indication of the PE lineage?

I don't think it's just a PE thing. Every now and then a tub of any random variety seems to be slow to put out spores for me.
