help with T. Bridgesii
    #26048664 - 06/12/19 05:22 PM (4 years, 9 months ago)

hey guys  so I got some T. Bridgesii chopped it up threw it in the blender with equal parts watter poured into a pot and kept on low to just barely boil the watter away now it is a green slushy type stuff so I guess my question is all the active ingredients in the watter or the very fine particles making it thick after doing what I described. the reason I ask is should I try and drink a lot of it like it is or should I filter through a t shirt removing the particles I just want to be sure if I filter through a t shirt the remaining solids don't have any chemicals left...don't want to throw away those chemicals wich is why I was thinking about not filtering it...

Strain it with a cheesecloth or an old bed sheet or t shirt, till it's a fuckin rock.

If you really want all the alkaloids you're gonna wanna do mulitple boils with said rock, straining each time, till you feel like you got everything.

Then

Take that and reduce (boil) it to a drinkable amount.

If I remember correctly around 45 mins x 3-4 pulls, combined, and then reduced at the end should work awesome.

Try to do more than 45 minutes per pull.  I try to do at least 12 hours total, but that's just me.  If you're going to take the time to prep the cactus then try to make sure that you get as much out of it as possible.  Best luck.

Do it like they’ve done for God knows how many years.

Despine your cacti.  Some people like to skin the outside skin off.

Slice like a cucumber, don’t blender it into mush.  You want slices or chunks. (Easy to filter, no snot)

Put it in the biggest pot you have and boil the fuck out of it, hard.  Boil it until the water gets low, but not so low it burns or caramelizes.  Then pour the remaining water into a small pot.  Refill your big pot and boil the fuck out of it, hard.  You’re not going to hurt the mescaline.  Keep doing that until your cacti is spent.  You know what a spent tea bag is like?  No more color comes out of it.  Spent cacti will lose it’s color and fall apart, you’ll know when it’s ‘empty’.  If you have doubts, keep boiling it until you know it’s spent.  May take 3 rounds of boils, may take 6.

Once it’s spent and you have all your poured off liquid from the boils in the small pot reduce it on a heat where you get the max amount of steam off of it.  Usually it’s at a ripple more than a boil.  Reduce it to however much liquid you feel like drinking and then filter it.  Cacti tea.

Just use logic man, there’s no magic in this process.

I was thinking to I do my own thc concentrate would running thje cactus in a closed loop with butane work or is butane not good for cacti? I have done searching but I cant find a complete guide to iso extraction some are only half of the info so I am looking for someone who actually has done it and would be willing to help Thanks guys!

What are some pros and cons in comparison to tea with using this method?

Is that crystalline structure in that pic?

It was a tar

Just a crude extract

Pros are just popping capsules filled with tar instead of drinking nasty tea aswell as storage

It looks like there’s solid forms in the tar..

What are those toothpick looking things?

Oh is that skins/spines?

Like sharp rolled up slices of tar from scraping with a razor

I wanna do a mescaline a/b extract one day to yield crystal but the trip from tar is amazing!

yeh I am new to this obviously but the tea was very hard for me to drink and keep down BUT I have other UN related medical issues with my stomach ( I throw up ALOT) so I may be a bit worse than the average person. this is why I asked about iso extraction seems much easier to consume the tar...but I have also heard people tell me you loose some of the other alkaloids from the plant that way and not the same trip but for me its worth a lil loss to make it easier to cunsume. ill deffinitly post a thread in a week or 2 once I get more cacti and have time to do the extraction but I will post exactly how I do it maybe with pics or video and comment on how easy/hard it was and what the experience is like compared to the tea

I believe the tar is full spectrum aswell compared to a/b extraction I'm not quite positive though

Def post if you ever do the tar extract and how it goes
