Its used for reptiles, planting of seedlings, they even make large rolls of it to help stop erosion along waterways.
It's mainly used for agricultural purposes.
But on a retail level its used mostly for reptiltes and plant seedlings.

its you for bedding for reptiles, hence the name "Bed-A-Beast" Go ask for bed a best or T-Rex forest bedding, they are both COIR. Next time learn to be nice to those who help you and you will get what you want.

Its just bedding for reptiles. It aborbs their waste.
Most pet stores don't know it as "coco coir". Pet stores will usually know it by its brand name. Coco coirs brand name depends on which company is distributing it.
For mushroom growing, you should use the finely ground up coco coir fiber. They make coco coir which is very corse, it looks like ...hmmmm horse hair. Its long and stringy. You DON'T want to use that for mushroom cultivating.
Do a search on google if you're going to use it for reptiles.... this is a mushroom message board, not a reptile board

Why don't you checkout the shroomery sponsors????? Mycosupply.com carries it. You could also type "coco coir" in whatever search engine you prefer to use and research it that way.....
