Aquaponics, completely natural organic hydroponics. You keep a tank of fish as your rez. The fish feed your plants and in turn your plants and the beneficial bacteria that builds up in their medium clean the water for your fish. Best of all the fish feed you.

well i would take a 5 gallon bucket and get the biggest air punp you can find i have the biggest optima model pump they have.
get opne of the 6 inch circular air emitters and put in the bottom of your bucket and then cut 2 or 3 holes of whatever smaller size grow basket you like add ur nutes and keepmthe air pump on all the time called a Deep Water Culture. my basil plants ware frigging hige i had a leaf that was easikly bigger than my hand in only oh id say 12 weeks.
damn i deleted my pics of the system inuse sorry dont have the system going right now because im moving out soon.

Use 9 or 12" plastic drain pipe (capped at both ends) with round holes cut in to the side, put mesh pot and clay pebbles in holes, circulate water with pump, airate with air stone. Couldn't be easier!!
