I just ordered 2pk of 120x2g packets for like 16 bucks gonna be here tomorrow. It's so cheap I figure if anything it's just for posterity. If my homies keep em in ziplocs or something lame like that I bet they will appreciate a couple packets in their sack.

I put those packets in all of my bags/jars of dried mush.:super:
It's a nice little reassurance.Really cheap too.

Probably so. I mean before loading in bags they snap even fondling them but maybe it’s because they’re fresh out and still hot. I’m just going to stick with 24 hours no matter what for now on.

If they do get flimsy like that and I re dry them are they still good? Or does the moisture cause potency loss?

Moisture will cause some loss, less than if say fan dried I would speculate, but I would redry them fo sho

Alrighty, I finished my Coir TEK. I feel like it's a pretty unnecessary tek, but I did it as part of a larger beast that's a little on the specific side. Feel free to use/read/follow/advise in the thread!

Yeah I’m using the same as you sh4d0ws and I’m using shoeboxes also so just have to wait for them to do their thing. You have some great results when compared to before you started casing.

I almost stopped growing PE a few months ago. Frustrated with blobs I was ready to give up but I had a bunch of LC left and wanted to use it all. Ended up with a lot of colonized jars and made a ton of shoeboxes and a couple monos. It took a lot of trial and error to get to that point of success, even following Frank's teks to the T I still had to adjust it for my own environment and conditions I suppose.

Now though, PE is probably going to be a constant. That shoebox (first pics) I posted was just harvested yesterday...410 grams wet from a single mycoquart of wheat (about 3/4 of a quart jar)

Rarely have gotten that without cloning :strokebeard:...hell even with clones I don't get more than 300 grams wet per myco quart very often :shrug2:

PE is pretty kick ass, once you get the casing right. You'll get it!

Yeah I see one already poking out blobs even with the casing  but like you said I’ll just keep messing with the casing until I get it right. I’m not giving up yet!

I finally landed back home late last night from my vacation. Came home to 2 good shroomy smelling spawn bags (one RW one PE6) ready to spawn pretty much now, but I'll let them sit a couple more days... and 10 RW quart jars ready for 10 shoeboxes.

Gettin ready to sterilize a bunch of coir... Fucking excited.

Colorado was cool and the dispensary I went to 3 times was very cool. 10/10

With the weight it builds just fine but with my old stove I would let the pressure build up to 5 psi before adding the weight to it and it doesnt wanna do it with out the weight

Oh yeah mine won’t build pressure without the weight either. I just vent for 10 minutes then add the weight.

You guys think this looks about ready for a casing layer or wait a bit longer?
