Girls invented the friend zone.  Guys just put a name to it.  I don’t see how that can be called sexist.


How so?
The idea of the “friend zone” like I said, implies the only use a man would have for being kind or friendly with a woman is to get sex from her. It implies that if a woman is friendly towards a man without having any intention of bedding him, she is somehow doing some great disservice to him, and that the platonic  friendship of a woman is no use to a man and even an insult. If you can’t see how that’s sexiest I’d love for you to enlighten me.




Everyone has an instinct to mate.  Especially guys.  What you think it implies is sexist in itself because a guy can friend zone girls too.  I’ve done it a couple of times, and it pisses them off.

Girls think their the only ones who can friend zone.

A nice guy that enters into the game thinking a white knight mentality is the way to go will get his head kicked in and his heart stomped on just for being himself, a nice guy. 

There are obviously some guys that do think that they are owed sex because they were nice guys, but they weren’t really nice guys to begin with.  And to lump all guys into the same category is the equivalent of me saying ‘all women are gold diggers’ which is categorically false.  Some women are gold diggers, but not all of them.

Friend zone is a term for when a guy or girl woos another individual with friendliness, gifts, or other chivalrous gestures.  It, in itself, does not imply that the wooer believes they are owed anything.  If it works for them, well that’s fucking weird, if it doesn’t, shit happens, they made a friend.

There can be sexist elements to the application, but not all the time.

The term, itself, is not sexist.

OP is perfectly in the clear you guys ,assuming what he says is true, which isnt a far fetched story, we've all seen these scenareos play out in real lifestate commonly. Why does this discussion against OP continue?
