It implies that if a woman is friendly towards a man without having any intention of bedding him, she is somehow doing some great disservice to him, and that the platonic  friendship of a woman is no use to a man and even an insult. I get you but when there was bedding and some else then they say lets just be friends when they are not even being friendly anymore, instead mock, and make fun of you..  and then wanting to get anything they can out of you.. using charming luring tactics  knowing you have a platonic thing for them is not the sexiest either....
