Hi there, could anyone help me out with these bad boys:

I think there are possibly 1-3 different types of shrooms here. some with slightly orange caps and gills; some with dark brown/grey caps (white/cream gills underneath), and some just cream/white on top and underneath.

Habitat: Also found in a park, wood chips, bark, dead branches, etc

Gills: Some are white / Some a little yellow/orange / cream, or very light brown

Stem: Whiteish, with grey/silver / some orange

Cap: some darker browny-silver / some a little orangey

Spore print color: N/A

Bruising: unsure how to describe, but yes? to some

Location: Melbourne Vic, Maribynong

Underside start your own thread don't hijack. It doesn't appear you have any P-subs in those photos. If P-subs are what you are after you need to learn what to look for if you are going to be successful. Picking a whole bunch of random mushrooms and taking a photo makes it hard for a lot of people to help you ID.

Picking mushrooms can go serious wrong if you pick the wrong mushroom (or get fooled by a doppelganger), and mushrooms like P-subs need to be respected for what they can offer, so in saying all that, respect the potential dangers and do your research.

You should start here:
https://endofthegame.net/2012/05/09/psychedelic-mushrooms-and-you/

This is an excellent guide for beginners.
Happy hunting.

(I hope i haven't come across as if I'm having a go).

Hi,

Sorry, new here and didn't know how to start my own thread. Trying to be careful and get an ID so my friends don't just go ahead and eat these.
It was my idea to try and be careful - thought this website was where people helped each other out. I've tried to include as much information as possible. Not sure what else I could do here.

I understand that Underside and this is the place to do it. But you have to be so careful if you are inexperienced the potential could be fatal. There is certainly more you can do, visit that website and do a bit of research the information on that page is a literal life saver.

Never ceases to astound me...

You know mushroom hunting is a bit like skydiving right? Sometimes you only get one shot at it.

Wow I think this is the dumbest thing I've read all night. Seriously for your sake I hope there's nothing nasty in there. Liver failure isn't a fast death. Maybe go to the hospital before you turn yellow. Also I'll tell you what's not gonna happen, your not gonna get high. Other people here already told you that so why the hell would you risk it. Do you know how dangerous eating poisonous mushrooms Is?

Btw the ones with the orange cap, gills and the brown stem could very well be a variety of galerina. Some species only take one cap to kill someone.

God I hope your just a troll taking the piss.

For the record I was trolling. I definitely definitely definitely was not going to take these unless I had 200% certainty from multiple sources that they were good to go. Even with that, I'd try just a tiny amount first anyway.
