I can't leave well enough alone...

1 pint Amazon on oats spawned 1:2 w/ bucket tek coir in a shoebox. 1 pint Ecuadorian on BRF birthed and sitting over highly hydrated coir on tin foil. Could really use a dunk and has a bad verm job, but it was already pinning so I'll let it give up first fruits before soaking and re-coating in verm. 1 pint Ecuadorian on BRF that started pinning in the jar and I couldn't get it out so it was EAF tek with bag before I moved it into the bin with it's buddies.
Running the ultrasonic humidifier a couple minutes every few hours to make up for the fact that I have very low RH here.

Pins a coming in, if they don't abort, this could be the one!
I guess it's air tight!
Will add a piece of tyvek inside the 1.25" screw cap to achieve filtered venting... interested in seeing how much water is left; thing was churning like hell but I never saw any steam escape (outside of venting)

Wow you made yours airtight!?
Damn dude sounds dangerous how much psi is it pushing? Is it pid controlled?
Mine is plastic also and I just keep the smaller of the 2 vent holes open throughout the cycle. No pid or anything it just full boils throughout the cycle. At the end there is no vacuum and all bags are presealed so no issues with nonfiltered air.
You should insulate that thing. Best idea is to get foam insulation boards and cut them into 8" strips that run the height of your tank. use elastic cords to hold 8 or so of them in an octagon around the tank and fill in the backside and gaps with spray foam.

Was he gentle?

Just giving you shit, welcome aboard!

Never registered any pressure to speak of: maybe 1/2 lb in the heat of the day... bounced a basketball off the top and sides (stress testing) no issue... will likely keep it locked down to cut time a little, then venting (filtered vacuum) after cycle ends... plan is to build a three-quarter inch plywood box on heavy duty casters big enough for the barrel to sit in drill holes in the Box for the fill nozzle and electrical cord, and fill it with great stuff around the barrel for insulation... add a hinged lid that locks for added security
