Is it possible to program your computer to erase the hard drive if password is entered incorrectly?

Some of you are probably aware that you can change a setting on  your phone that will make it factory reset if the password is entered incorrectly like 10 times.

Well, I was just wondering if there was a way to make my computer erase the hard drive after two failed password attempts on the Windows Logon Screen, or with that other setting on the bios where you can set a hard drive password.

Thanks.

Yes.

I have a few of these and they work great (no I don't work for the company)

"Self destruct security mode (mitigate brute force hacking)

They're not cheap in regards to hard drive space but they are solid.

First you pass an RFID chip over the bottom of the drive just to gain access to the LCD screen.

Then you enter your password.  You can set it up so that if the password is wrong a certain number of times.  The drive automatically wipes.

Hope that helps.

I'm sure a decent programmer could design an encrypt software.  I'd be best commanded to do that, as mentioned law enforcement backs up the data.  Best in the first place to not be doing stuff with computers.  This isn't Eastern Europe.

Encrypt is far better than delete.
