California does lead by example and you people complain about it endlessly.

In 2007 Maryland became the 12th state to adopt Clean Cars legislation, implementing California’s stricter vehicles emission standards. A number of states other are currently considering adopting the standards.

The following 13 states and Washington D.C. (and their supporting legislation) have adopted California’s vehicle emission standards including the greenhouse gas standards for motor vehicles:

We must ban cars or die.

Its not about the end of the world it’s about the air your breathing right now .  The air in CA in the 70s was horrid . It’s not great now but it’s way better than before they started the regs .
It’s amazing to me shit like this is even a partisan issue . Would you really prefer you , your kids and the entire future of humanity breath poisoned air , rather than agree that the other side has a good idea about something ?  It’s basically this .

I don’t know about you but I would prefer to learn how to survive in the second photo . I can see farther .

If we are talking about clean cities, then fine. But banning fossil fuels, cars, and air travel will never fly with me.

If if the picture is good now, then keep it. I'm all for it.

Pretty sure the smog regulations started in 74 . You can buy any car you want built before that year and drive it everyday without ever smogging  it . We aren’t banning anything .

Don;t think about it too hard. The Flynn Effect has reversed, as of roughly 1975, and since there are differences withing families, it's not genetic. It is external. Matter of fact, the Norwegian research group found that there aren't really any explanations, besides the air or water.

Basically, your kids are statistically gonna be too stupid from all the CO2 inhalation to give a fuck. They'll just die, all going Dee-tee-Dee.
