Guy, Apocalypse Now. Post-trip, near nodding dose to mesh with the music. delusions of a 2nd life as a jungle warrior - optional.

Edit: Any good War/Vietnam movie that has good acting & a lot of combat, really; something to keep the bloodlust fed. :tongue:

I’ve never understood why someone on psychedelics needs trippy visuals. What makes shrooms crazy is how the mundane and commonplace become the trippy visuals.

That is so, so true. Damn that is so true.

Took me a long time to realize that, too. Because I was always searching for trippy "atmosphere", like trippy films or music, or lights when I was tripping.

But like koods said, where it's at, is just...the solitude of the mundane and commonplace shit that we experience everyday. How it completely changes THAT into an entirely atmosphere.

So many times my best moments under the influence of a psychedelic is when things are like they usually are (in everyday life), but, in the scope of a trip -- they aren't.

It's an entirely different world.

It was just a couple of sentences but that's the best I've ever heard it put the way koods just put it.

Requiem for a Dream would scare me off opiates and lot of other things. I've never watched it a 2nd time.  The 3 principle actors were great.

Trainspotting is real good, but I go with Drugstore Cowboy.
