Reading emotions

Okay, now everyone knows how easy it is to see trough people while on drugs, especially on psychedelics, but how common is it that you can do that while not taking any drugs? I've had that trough my hole life, and it is pretty depressive (and sometimes extatic) in the longrun. Would like to share viewpoints whith ppl.
What I mean with depressive is that it is rough to see all the time the real motives behind peoples actions, and you cant be telling them that you know Comes pretty much an unbearable burden sometimes :/

hey man. I know what you mean, but with the burden also comes the responsibility of learning from each new experience, and holding yourself accountable for YOUR thoughts and actions only. But if you stick with it and practice impeccability whenever possible, the rewards in the long run are well worth it. The 'eye' may see things other cannot. Just help others where you can and it is needed that you have the capacity to fulfill. Be humble but do not absorb or take on the energies of these people. It would be a good idea to learn proper grounding technique and how to adjust your aura and such. If you are going to be working with chaos, you need to be properly equipped.

My problem is that when I see the motives, I usually say something. It's better to not say anything, so you can keep an eye on people. I've been practicing that, just keeping quiet about what I observe.
I don't think it's an unbearable burden. I think it's a very good thing to see what people are up to. Then you can govern yourself accordingly.

Hmm...I'm not sure how a "third eye" would perceive emotions. Isn't it mainly a matter of understanding facial expressions and body language?

maybe your judging people a bit too much, maybe your judging yourself a bit too much. if you think that your seeing someones true motives, so what? dont worry about it if it doesnt concern you.

i'm very good at this as well...except i can only really notice the devious motives behind people's actions. i'm good at picking out the manipulators and "less pure"(for lack of a better word) people. i would rather be able to tell whether or not girls are feeling me as a freind or romantic partner or whatnot. it seems that more people can do this and i get to be the one that picks out the selfish people in the crowd. well, you can't always get what you want! -1 good thing from this "talent" is that i get to choose my friends accordingly!! weeding out the rif-raff is a valuable thing.

I'm also blessed/cursed with that kind of empathy, so I understand the burden you feel. It's hard to see all the suffering around you, especially when you also see how easily it could be avoided if people weren't so awful to each other. Wish I had some helpful advice for ya, but at least you know you're not the only one struggling with it.

Most people I know who claim to sense others' negative motives have anxiety (and borderline paranoia during stress). These people I know tend to not trust most and feel some form of malice is at every corner.
But I'm sure there are exceptions

Ravus... (I milk every excuse to use that smiley.)
I'm decent at reading body language (and other forms of indirect non-verbal communication). And for some strange reason, my abilities improve while I'm on a psychedelic. It's as if I'm more sensitive to the non-verbal stuff. Believe me, I wasn't the one who pointed this out...friends thought I was a psychic. Sigh...fun stuff.

I think it's because we can read slight nuances of tone, facial expression and eye communication much better than we think we can, but on a subconscious level... and as with all subconscious things, we can access them much more on psychedelics.
I can also often tell what people are feeling, not just by their facial expressions but by their entire body language. Once you learn how to read other's, you can use your own body language to maximum benefit also

I think they are prone to distortion while on psychedelic drugs.
