there is a spiritual hunger for God in evry person, some people try to fill that "void" with anything they can whether it be sex, money, drugs, drunkeness, anything to try in fill that God shaped void that only the creator can fill. with this said there have been spiritual tools given to mankind such as fasting meditation ethogens.
