A trail of lights in the nights sky * 1
    #26023668 - 05/30/19 07:03 PM (4 years, 11 months ago)

I seen a load of flying lights in a line last week Saturday 25th May approx 01:30. On a hunch I google how long it takes to orbit the earth cause I suspected that it was in orbit. So about 90 mins later I went  out n sure enough it passed over again!

Ended up phoning uk space agency, closed. Then rang the Local observatory n before I could explain she told me someone  else phoned in to. Got an explanation to what it is

This what I saw https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.space.com/amp/spacex-starlink-satellites-spotted-night-sky-video.html

F me I thought the were landing đź‘˝ LOL

Not my video but spectacular none the less. I’m glad there was other sightings and an explanation or people be like “he’s been tripping”

Did anyone else see starlink satellites in the nights sky?

Oh wow, that's weird!

I wonder why the satellite made that string-of-pearls effect like that? Boasters onboard going off? Sun reflections?

Yeah sun I believe. I see satellites every clear night amongst other stuff

When I witnessed it, there was a line going through them as if they were tethered. Awesome sight. Plenty more to happen.

Because they were all released from the same rocket payload. They all started with the same velocity and direction as one group and were released, slowly separating from each other.  There were 60 individual satellites deployed at one time.
