you can squeeze out pretty accurate repeatable amounts once you get the hang of it. Think my biggest ketchup bottle is about 900ml

are you sure it doesn't? a vacuum would be forming in the bottle if sucking liquid out. I guess if there is an air intake it could be filtered but I didn't see anything on the amazon page that specifically said no air was going in.

yes, I talk about that in the link. Another one I used was a thin silicone tube attached to the bottom of a bottle with a syringe needle shoved into it and then plugged the needle by sticking it into a rubber bung. Then I have a filtered jar and just take the bung off and the liquid can flow through the needle, I have little clamps for the tube, you can just pinch it while doing a few jars. Now the air is sucked in through the filter on the jar. A needle is not even needed, it can be clumped easier than a syringe as there is only the pressure of the head of liquid rather than a syringe plunger, however the tubing can be massaged or "milked" to create pressure. I like the needle for fine control but if filling lots of jars a narrow tube is good enough. I have plugged narrow silicone tube with the head of a rounded stainless screw, this can be difficult to replug in a sterile manner so better to be a single session of filling.

Your bottle could be outside of the SAB and up high to create more pressure and higher flow rates. People doing big grows could easily make huge amounts of LC. I always wanted to try doing it in a large bucket. You can sterilize concentrated LC in a PC and then dilute it in water in a bucket with a heating element in it and a filtered lid. Now a simple boil is all that should be needed to resterilize, with your element ideally connected to a variable power supply.

Yea the one on the right turned out way too murky but now it has settled a lot so it is a bit better, but I don't think I will be doing that again.

And MEA is malt extract correct? Would you source that from like a brewery or where?

I think if you dilute the grain water some it will help clear it up though I'm not sure how much dilution is too much since I only used grain water LC a couple times but I do remember diluting it and even filtering some sediment out though on later batches I just diluted. The diluted stuff still worked well but I can't remember if it was diluted 50% or more. I think it was 50%.

Once I found LME I started using solely LME for my LC. I misspoke in the earlier post, I meant to say LME.

Light malt extract.

MEA is the abbreviation for malt extract agar which is just agar made using LME and agar agar.

You can find that from a brewing supply store, but I have been buying mine on Amazon
