That's a lot of liquid compared to mycelium. It's possible you poured little to no myc in some jars. Best to give it a swirl before pouring each jar, but as long as you shook well before syarting your pours it ought to be fine. You'll know in a few days.

it's normal to see no growth on day one, beginning growth on day 2 and onward and upward from there.... for me.

It can also be left in the settled state and pour off and discard the clear top layer into a jar before putting the rest in jars.

I often suck up LC and leave it settle in a syringe with the needle facing upwards. Once settles keep it held upright and you squirt out the top clear liquid over a basin, in a shower or outside and then you have thicker myc to put on your grains.

Then 5 days later..

2 weeks later (sorry forgot to take a pic) I ended up using that LC to make these jars..

This is 10 days of growth^^^

Now I went ahead and made 3 more media bottles of beer LC (this time I used less beer, used 5% mickeys beer) and 8 days later they all 3 look about like this

Whats the average time between inoculating with agar and the LC being ready to use?

would depend on how much you use and if you are stirring a lot.

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5484818

Also depends on what you mean by "ready to use", most presume you mean when it is pretty much complete, or totally completely grown out. While it could only have grown a little bit and be enough to take a sample and use in a jar, and leave the rest to finish off. Some might be in a rush to get at least 1 jar started, but could be patient with the rest.

Got it. So how do you measure when pouring from a media bottle? Worried I will end up pouring too much?

Im about to play around with LC.  Sterilizing my first jars of broth now.

I like that picture way back on post 1.  I hope to get something that looks similar.  How much mycelium would that be?

You could run it through silkscreen, filter it out and extract the psilocin.  Maybe you could get 5000 doses a week!

Call it the Psilocin Producers Guide.

Whadaya think?  No one's ever thought of that before, right?

No, I think I saw another post someone was trying that. But they really just copied someone elseโ€™s old post.

If he didnโ€™t tell on himself in his own post then people mightโ€™ve been interested but he did no leg work. People starting poking holes in the tek right away and he had no hard data to back it up.

I feel like a lot of these teks have already been done a long time ago and people add their name to it like it was their idea. I could be wrong but to test if Iโ€™m right Iโ€™m going to start looking up old hidden texts for one I can reclaim as my own :drevil:

A little as you can. Like barely a pour is more than enough.

I judge how much I pour with how much is poured when I do petri dishes.

Pouring 10ml is almost a dash:cool:
