Cake just wont budge.
    #2601468 - 04/25/04 04:57 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

Hi all, a foaf has a cake that will just not get out of ots jar. It comes out about half way and then gets stuck. There are already pins forming on the lower part of the cake.

Any Suggestions on how to get the cake out the safest way possible??

I't probably try sterilizing a fork and pull it out.

My foaf tried it all, like I said, comes out half and then wedges tight. Break the glass maybe??

just break up the cake in pieces, using a steralized fork,or knife, and case it.

Butternut squash are softer than acorn or other types of squash, which makes them easier to cut and prepare.

well im dont break it into tons of pieces, just take the sterile knife, and stick in there and make a cut like an x.Then just dump out the pieces, pick the shrooms that grew already, and case it.or just let the jar go and grow invitro.

It'll probably be alright.

I'd dunk it to make sure it has enough moisture to recover properly.
