does this make sense? (it's quality)

It is said in many places to mist the casing lightly, so as not to drown the fragile mycellia. But how does this relate to dunking? If one was to dunk a casing, wouldn't it give more water than a good heavy misting? Yet dunking works ... Is it really necessary to mist lightly? Or can one give a good soaking without worry?

(This question relates to the time in between flushes)

There talking about the fine myc that forms pins then shrooms that pokes threw the casing layer. Once you harvest the flush you can dunk away with your casing and after each flush if you like.

Just casings are easy to contam and it is much safer to mist with a h202 solution.

it's the same thing with cakes. You can dunk before birthing and after each flush but you don't exactly want to be dunking as the myc is knotting or forming pins. :headbang:
