disposing of tubs

Anyone have any advice for discretely disposing monotubs and shotgun fruiting chambers in a dense urban area? As in, disposing of the plastic tubs themselves, not the substrate. They look strange with 1 1/2" and 1/4" holes in their walls. I thought of cutting them up into small pieces, then putting the pieces in garbage bags. But how the hell would I cut them up without any tools? Too tough for a box cutter. Any ideas?

Science project. Just toss them in a recycling dumpster. Nothing illegal, they're empty.or put duct tape over the holes, they make great storage containers. They do crack pretty easily, make them look all cracked and put them by your trash.

Amend your soil with coir. I'm using it for my weed this year to fix the soil a more neutral feel.
If left outside in my area it takes about 1-2 years to break down.

My garden loves my spent tubs! Also my worm farms love them too! Even get a random fruit or two sometimes out of the worm farms. Always wondered if the worms have the same trips as humans

Break them into pieces, should be easy unless you dont own shoes. They crack if you drop them, use that to your advantage.

Shoes are expensive how can anyone afford that especially just to break up some tub. Why spend all that money for something that will never be used again!!

You're right, not sure what I was thinking. OP probably forgot they stack inside each other too. I would take the whole stack and drop it in a dumpster, done. I wouldn't trash shit to begin with, just me.

Or just keep them for your next grow? Leave em in the garage or in the garden if you don't want clutter

just throw them in your neighbors trash late at night. The local special mush cult trash investigation unit will be on their ass instead of yours!

Could of sworn you just said in another thread that you trash any moldy jars and now you don't trash shit?
Don't understand.
Edit; Op you can also use that Sgfc to hold supplies, jars, etc. It's still a tote.

If you’re really worried, clean the tubs with bleach and toss in the trash. You can maybe cut off some portions to make it harder to identify if you’re worried.
How are you getting rid of your spent soil?

Hell yes I trash moldy jars, I don't even open them, in the trash they go. Moldy tubs? Clean them out. Hose, bleach, soap, lysol. Tubs are 10 bucks and I have to take my time and carefully drill holes without destroying the pp5 plastic they are made from. I never let a tub get disgusting the way a jar full of mold is after a day.
I wouldn't trash all my equipment out of paranoia. I walked out the door the other day and saw 20 of the exact same car parked up and down the street, exact same car, dodge caliber black. Guess what I did? Nothing. After 25 years of outlaw living I'm smart enough to not get caught for this shit. I may be bipolar but I'm not paranoid.

Now Dunkin Donuts is going to get busted for growing active mushrooms.
