Yeah I overreacted so for that I’m sorry too.

I really struggle with the taste of rue. I had like PTSD from it. For months even the smell of the seeds made me gag. 

But I’m also an extreme heavyweight where psilo is concerned.  Last time I tripped I took 8 grams and achieved a light visual state.  I’d say low leve 3.  My field produces decently enough when the weather is just right but I by no means have an unlimited supply.  Because of my high tolerance every trip makes a huge dent.  I’ve yet to reach anything beyond what seems to be described as level 3, including on a 9 gram dose.

I feel like it must have to do with high mao activity...but rue is just soooo bad.  So when I hear about extracts I’m very interested.  Unfortunately in my personal situation I really just can’t give the extraction process the respect it deserves.  However your point about low quality and/or contaminated extracts for sale online is a very valid one.  Which is why I asked about a trusted vendor.

There are many ways to skin a cat as far as getting an effective dose of DMT, as can be seen from the above posts.  I have to agree that unless you are a DMT hardhead, even 40mg should have you trippin' balls.

I also love my glass vapor genie, but even with THAT I use a special technique.  On top of a single or double screen, I place an ultrathin layer of mullein (Verbascum thapsus) that I press into place with the eraser side of an ordinary pencil.  I put my DMT on top of that, place the diffuser in place, flame it with an ordinary Bic and draw in firmly.

One hit of 25-30mg has me out of body and into a fantasmic realm of kaleidoscopic eye candy.  :psychsplit:

I get no body load...with a good hit, I feel the onset of a Novocaine-type corporeal numbness.  Never vomited like OP just did, nor even felt any nausea.

Dunno what's going on with him.  Wish I could help but I don't know what to say... :shrug:

Maybe you should look into another substance such as 4-aco-dmt. This is a good read IMO if you haven't already come across it.

Obviously you don't have to go the route of IV to dissolve into the twilight zone. I've read many many good reports of oral administration. It can be very powerful and not unlike NN,DMT. Didnt have to even touch the DMT tonight. This whole night was the most profound experience of my life so far and sets the pace for the rest of my days on this planet exploring my consciousness. I fully let go, Full ego dissolution on 300ug. My first ever true breakthrough of any kind. I wanted to instantly go back to the mushrooms because I now know how to navigate it and let go. Words cannot describe what I went through and released tonight but just know it was years and years of pent up anger and distrust towards the human race that I was so closed off from love it was the only thing keeping me from breaking through. I thought I was teaching and introducing psychedelics to my girlfriend but it was the other way around, I was the one that needed teaching I was just so closed off from real love its inexplicable. so with all that said I should be able to have a pretty decent mushroom level 4/5 experience fairly simply and also should dissolve with 40-50mg of DMT like any other normal functioning love welcoming brain should, thats not afraid of that feeling of letting go which I was so scared of. I felt like I DIED. It was so hard for me to let go but when I did holy hell It felt universally orgasmic. I just wanna go back and thats why next weekend its back to the natural mystic of mushrooms we go. SO EXCITED FOR WHAT COMES NEXT!!!!!!

I knew this would happen! My gf had the hardest time tripping for the longest. One day she just understood how to and let go. Now it doesn't take much at all for her.

You can find ones that are laid over rain, I don’t know about you but I’m always happy when it rains :cool:

I found one a week or so ago that had a dope graphic that reminded me of looking out the window when I was in the sticks so I could trick my head into believing I wasn’t trapped in the city..

I always listen to music when I blast off. It makes the trip 10 times as powerful. Music allows you to navigate that place. It's why shamans use it for ceremonies. People often say to use it in silence because of Terrence mckenna but they don't know what they're missing out on. Terrence is human and he didn't know everything. He says that you need 3 hits but people probably used it out of a meth pipe back then. They didn't have the glass vapor genie or know how to make enhanced leaf/changa. His brother said that the dmt that they got wasn't very pure. He claimed that you need 5 grams of mushrooms but what people don't understand is that he had a bad trip that caused him to go crazy for a period of time. He barely tripped when he was preaching about it lol. I think it's best not to listen to anyone and do what's best for you. Not sure why I'm ranting lol.. This is the music I listened to when I first used ayahuasca and dmt.

I too always listen to music when smoking. Music definitely helps me navigate the trip. It's cool yall started this discussion - as a musician I'd really love to share my experience from extracted MHRB or "Jurema". This is a song I made titled "Jurema" that I find does a really good job describing the main elements of MHRB as well as being an incredible song to listen to through the experience imo

Whenever I try listening to music on a DMT related substance the same thing happens all the time. I put the music on and when the oral DMT or mushrooms hit and bring me up to hyperspace the music goes away and I literally can't even hear it. When the trip starts to wear off and I come down, then I can hear the music again. So really for me it's kind of pointless unless I want to listen after I come down but I always end up thinking about what just happened to me.

Bill, that doesn't mean that subliminally, the music didn't impact the trip.  I'd still be VERY circumspect about a playlist which spanned the interval of time you describe as being "absent."  Choose with care and with thoughtfulness to encourage the best possible results.

Just trying to insure your mental health is as pristine as can be while on the other side, and upon your return.

I had a breakthrough listening to my song and because in hyperspace I was experiencing life in the fourth dimension (simultaneously experiencing the creation and destruction of the universe as well as everything inbetween) where time is far from linear. Because of this, I could still hear the music and at normal tempo but those few minutes around three or four minutes in played for literally eternity. It's hard to describe but maybe because I had made the music and was so familiar with it I was able to take it with me to hyperspace and arrange it in a way that could contain rhythm yet be void of linear time. It's incredibly hard to explain but I felt like a full on wizard. It might have been the coolest part of an incredibly intense and difficult trip actually

I tend to agree with all that. DMT makes music better, but IME music doesn't make DMT better. That's not to say it's bad, but in a hard breakthrough, I don't hear it at all. Coming down the music with DMT can be awesome, but DMT without music is every bit as awesome. Last time I thought to try Shpongle I got the very clear message that DMT has heard Shpongle enough. It's over it, lol

Mushrooms and LSD on the other hand...
