They're not bad pics, just not the greatest. It appears your focus was a bit off, especially in the second photo.
This isn't a photo contest forum so I don't see anything wrong them, they got the point across in the intended manner.
Great find!!
I wish you many more.

Can you give us a rough idea where you got these in Melbourne?
East, West, North, South etc
I don't want to know your patch location just a general vacinity, I went hunting on 24th in the North West but it has obviously been far too dry and we found nothing! :-(

Found some subs today, got about 5 small medium sized ones with a few patches starting up which is good. Bring on the rain i say.
I'm in the south eastern suburbs by the way. Thats all i'm going to say.
Sorry got no camera, you all know what they look like anyways.

Yeah i'm from Melbourne,
Zebes i don't think thick layers of woodchips are that promosing, i spose it wouldn't hurt to look.
Me and a mate had those five subs and we were on the border of level 2 and 3, nice visuals more than usual probably because i usually have them at night.
happy hunting everyone.

what beam said... from my experience thick layers of woodchips aren't so good, possibly because alot of the water drains down to the bottom rather than soaking into the top
