Noobiee cobweb??

Noobie here, these appeared on day 3 or 4 on sub, now is day 5. they're cobweb arent they ?? I made two tubs so far, i have to note that this one's spawn was very humid and had myc piss on it before spawning to substrate. I've searched a lot on this topic on the internet since, some said to spray h2o2 solution on it. some said that people dont correctly identify cobweb and sometimes it's their myc.
So I've come across a few things: first: I have to be positive its cobweb second: if it is cobweb I'll have to use peroxide solution on it (which might affect the myc and peroxide is deadly to humans) third:cobweb mold unlike hydrogen peroxide is in no way toxic to humans (i can let it grow?) another question is that, does the cobweb mold hinder myc growth in anyway? If the cobweb mold doesn't hinder myc or mush growth in anyway and is in no way toxic to humans, why does everyone on every forum seek to eliminate cobweb with peroxide ( which is deadly to humans)? and finally these are the pictures, please help identify:

did you notice any weird smell on the grains before spawning? Anything not smelling like fresh mushrooms is bad. looks like cobweb.... should have been visible or smellable before spawning, if its already taking over.

yeah, still got lots of unanswered questions. It'd really be great to have some more answers before misting with the peroxide

Cobweb looks thin, wispy and gray whereas healthy cubensis mycelium is always dense and white.
Look at your fourth picture in the top center... See that thin, wispy stuff poking up into the air? That's definitely cobweb.
It grows much faster than cubensis mycelium so if you don't throw it away now you'll at least get some experience in knowing what it looks like, ect.. In other words, in a few days that substrate will over overrun with the stuff.

Yeah, it's 100% cobweb.
Probably what happened is that it was carried over from whatever substrate you're using. So make sure you're following proper procedure in preparing your substrate.
If you want more detailed help then explain to us how you prepared your substrate. The more details, the better.
Also, at this point spraying peroxide onto it won't do a damn thing. You can try it if you'd like, but there's almost a 100% chance that the cobweb is all throughout your substrate, not just on the top. So spraying peroxide onto the top surface isn't going to magically penetrate into the substrate and fix your problem.
Also, ditch the garbage bag liner at the bottom of the tub. It's totally unecessary.

One more thing: don't assume that your cubensis mycelium will continue to grow along with the cobweb. It doesn't work that way.
If you let that tub continue then what you'll see is the white mycelium stall out and the cobweb continue to grow. Go ahead and let this happen if you want to use it as a teaching moment, but trust me, that tub is finished.

I have some weird smell but my cakes smelled good when I shredded them, could it be just the tap water making it smell? it looks to be colonizing normally...

sometimes it will stall the cobweb long enough to get a flush, but after that good luck.
Just had a tub with a little corner that got it about 2 1/2 days ago, a light mist with 3% and I haven't seen it come up yet.. I knew this tub would be a bit of a pain cause of the slightest smell of fruity it had at spawning.

You'll never get any kind of flush out of this tub because the cubensis mycelium has already stalled out... It will never consolidate and thus it will never fruit.
Rule of thumb: once your tub gets a contamination, throw it out.
Take more care in preparing your bulk substrate because that's almost certainly how your tub got contaminated.
But do not fret because once you learn the ropes and get your own system down, and know what you're doing, you'll rarely have tubs getting contaminated.
Also, if you're doing casing layers, stop doing them. I don't understand why that's not common knowledge on these forums by now.. I'm sure some people out there get along just fine by using them but that doens't mean that they aren't 100% superfluous and unecessary. Casing layers are just one more step to possibly have something fuck up, and they don't help anything, so why do them?

Ime cobweb usually happens because u don't have good enough airflow in ur tub. Cobweb loves stale air! On your next tub make sure u have better FAE. Live and learn

I only get that shit when I leave aborts. What is your sub made from? Sterilized, pasteurized, bucket tek or sink? What kind of water? Some tap water leaves conditions favorable to mucor and the like. That looks more like mucor but both have similar strains. If you can't get it under control you'll lose it, before that happens take it outside and cover it in the shade with some grass. That mold doesn't like a lot of FAE. I use exhaust fans in my grow cabinet and only see this if I leave one out of the cabinet too long.

my sub is the bucket tek, I did 3 tubs of which the first one is in perfect condition but the later ones got contam. My first sub i did the bucket tek with coir and verm (pasteurized) but my later two tubs i did the bucket with coir, verm and donkey shit (pasteurized), which was unnecessary i guess i learned my lesson and wont do unnecesary shit anymore. thanks

The little mushrooms that stop growing, they're dead, they attract mold if you leave them they will rot.
