I have never used a research chemical before, and have decided that I would like to try 5meodmt. Do any of yall have a preferance on smoking it verses snorting it? Also, when smoking it...is it neccessary to freebase, or can a direct flame touch it?

Smoke it.
Its a bit of an intense one to start out with. The length of snorting - is something id think you will very much need lots of preperation for, or your going to regret it.
Ive smoked it on marijuana, but smoking it in a crack pipe, or on a light bulb *chasing the dragon style* will knock you waaay furthur than you've been beforem - and make you feel like you ate glass shards.

I've heard that snorting it is less intense though? What do you mean, eating glass shards?

i would defentaly start out smoking it, this girl hit a line of it at my place not to long ago after repeated warnings on not to fucking do it (because i knew she couldn't deal) and ended up slamming her head into a mirror and kept yellin she was gonna die  i thought it was kinda funny
since i told her that's exactly what she'd do and i knew she'd be ok after
it wore off but i bet she didn't think it was funny. so yeah it can be very
intense, i never had a trip anything near as dramatic as that with it.

My first hit smoking i thought i was going to die. I consciously remember evaluating my physical symptoms - EXTREME loss off water, being unable to move or communicate, shaking, and dangerously fast heart rhythm - I feared i might have a stroke. I said to myself "I will never do this again" , "This is too much" , "Oh my god, ive killed myself."
There is very little attributable to this substance beyond the physical death symptoms. It is not an entheogen - and has no spiritual or mental folds to it.
*chasing the dragon* burns the fuck out of your lips and tongue and it feels like you just mowed down a lightbulb.
Snorting it for your first time would be ignorant as hell. If you havent experienced anything of near similar calibre, 5 meo DMT will take you on a horribly freightening ride - and snorting it will just keep on going and going.
Consequently, when you come down - the only benefit you'll receive is your furthur appreciation for still being alive - Because you'll be positive you were dying.

some folks feel that a direct experience of "the void" or "the clear white light" is very spiritual for them...

i get this psychedelic rush like feeling, kinda like coming up on shrooms but extremly fast and not much visuals to speak of except things are brighter, minor disturbances, seeing energy that kinda stuff, and feeling like i'm about to die, well at first then i learned that feeling and it wasn't as scary. I think it has decent mental effects on the come down but dosn't last that long, I wouldn't discard it as worthless-

i don't know if this is a common thing, and kinda off topic, but here is a decent technique for smoking it (not freebasing, that has to do with a molecule not being in a salt form, nothing to do with heating/inhaling technique) anyways, clean out a glass pipe really nicely, i mean, sparkly fucking clean. then dump in some 5meo-dmt (i won't say how much, you better know how much, or you shouldn't be doing this shit!!) and let it fall through the bowl to a little pile on the bottom (it has to be very clean, or it will stick to the resin, and you won't be able to see it). now, put the flame under the pipe, so that the top is an inch or so from the glass, and just heat it up until it starts fuming. slowly, very slowly, carefully gently inhale that plastic tastin shit. drop the pipe onto something that won't burn from the heat just before you explode into stars.

Interesting trance fishy! Thats like using a glass pipe as a 'glass dick'. I never thought about doing that. Hmm...

Ok, I tryed some the other night. I tryed some in the tip of a cigarette, which only gave me a mild buzz. Aprrox. 5-7mgs. Then i tried 8mgs chasing the dragon. The powder/chrystal just melted into a liquid when placed above a lighter and not much smoke came from it?! I don't understand. I was a little intoxicated at the time, and need to try again...but does anyone know what was up with this? I might try smoking it on top of pot, I've heard of someone doing this. Does direct flame destroy it or what?

is it in HCL salt form or freebase??? i found the easiest and best way to dose with 5meodmt is too lace it onto some parsly leaves. i'll help you out doing it if you want... let me know
