 Shrooms opening at sides

What does it mean if shroom caps are opening at the sides? Starts quite early, before the surrounding fruits are nearing maturity. Not worried, just interested. I imagine it isn't related to contamination or drop in potency.
Pics related. Strain is Golden Teacher. Cakes in shotgun fruiting chamber with plenty FAE holes + misting & fanning.

Could be a mutation or you are wiping down your tubs with something anti-fungal or petroleum based.

Just good ol genetic mutation. Those don't need to be picked just yet but they'll mature quickly. Why are your pictures so strangely colored. It's always good to upload the nicest pictures possible when hoping for help identifying something.

Just wait until the veils underneath the caps begin to break open. These have a little bit to go yet.

First you'll see the veil just starting to tear. Then comes complete separation. Then the cap will start to open. Then it'll start to flatten a bit and dump spores. Harvest anywhere between veil separation and the spore dump. I prefer to harvest a little earlier when growing standard cubes because they don't break as easily once dry. Opened caps like to crumble apart once completely dry and in the bag. I don't like that.
This isn't the best picture but it kind of shows the acceptable times to harvest.

These have been harvested just as and when they mature, as opposed to all at the same time :s
Shouldn't be a problem, right?
