Hit and Miss with mushroom strength * 1

Hi guys first time posting here,

So i found a bunch of blue Meanies a couple weeks ago took them home, sorted through them bagged them and weighed 250g fresh. Not a bad find for my first time, i was stoked as ive been trying for about the last 3months on 5 seperate occasions and had no luck at all. I bought a food dehydrator and dried them out for about 8hrs at 45 degrees till they were fairly crispy. I ground them up into powder and dosed 2.5g straight up at night watching Netflix. Wasn’t too bad, very chilled only mild effects. Then 2 weeks later i went to a mates house and we dosed 5 dried grams each of powder and the effects were very, very mild if any at all and my mate couldn’t feel anything. I have dosed 5 dried grams before from some my mate got off the d web and we could barely see in front of ourselves it was amazing.

The other day i took a trip to nimbin, purchased some shrooms off a guy there. Would have eaten easily 5  grams and once again very very mild. On the way back we stopped in some paddocks and picked about 100g fresh large gold tops. My friend and I ate a mushroom each that probably weighed 80g fresh (this is right after the ones we already had) as we were not satisfied with our purchase... bout an hr later we were really fucked up!!! Felt super chilled and very high... I honestly feel like the blue meanies i picked and the ones we bought that day were no where near as strong as the fresh gold tops we picked. Has anyone else experienced this? I love taking heroic doses and always try to push it... but my results with wild ones aren’t consistent. What’s your opinions? Are we talking pan cyans here? Because 5g dried should have blown out your skull. I am at complete ego
death on 2g of cyans. I've had various levels of potency within a single batch that I've grown which I
think is weird, but they always leave me with something to talk about.

Sounds like you are talking about Pan cyans and fresh P cubenis.

For wild Pan Cyans, you need a ton to get a good trip. Like half a sandwich baggie at least.

For wild Cubenis, they are reported as some of the most potent shrooms around. Ive read many times about the high potency of these wild strains. That trip report doesn't surprise me.

What LC said, but also Wild strength varies more than cultivated shrooms will.  'Cause there's no quality control for that kind of thing.

If you go back to the same patches and pick again you should get similar results. :shrug:

That's just my experience anyway, primarily with liberty caps and Ps. cyans.
