Thanks man, yeah I wanna use your bulkier method over the cakes, but for tasting, cakes sound appealing. So I'll try with smaller pp5 "PC´able" containers and see.
On a similar note: since were trying smaller containers/trays to test genetics; have you thought of using autoclavable trays with (or without) injection ports in the lids? that way you skip going from bags to trays and don't disturb the growth. And since they're smaller, not shaking wouldn't delay nothing. any thoughts? Thanks again!!

Well that's why I was thinking Ziplock rounds. Or half pint wide mouth jars. I would put the sub (which already has grain in it) in a bunch of them
and just PC. Then inoculate with LC in front of the hood. Case and fruit right from the jar.

I don't have any prints to spare at the moment, but if you reach out on the Official Copelandia/Panaeolus Thread maybe someone
can help you out.

P. tropicalis

Been playing with a new spawn to pasteurized bulk method that takes a little longer than the LC route, but it's easier and the results
have been good.

Will update OP if it works out.

Did it "pan out"? (sorry for the corny joke)

I would love to use pasteurization for pans.

first time growing out Pan Cyan from a LC. I see the commentary about wispy mycelium and the two plates are super wispy. Any view on if this is contam? I'm leaning towards yeah. The color is pure white in real life, the off color is a lighting thing.

FYI, the entire write up has been recently rewritten, drastically simplified and re-organized.

I personally no longer use the LC method, which was Blue Helix's method. Just
spawning rye to pasteurized bulk now. I'll update the OP once I have documented
my current method.

A post while tripping-
UGGGHH!- sorry Asura, I accidentally posted in your thread- serves me right for making a post when Im tripping!!

More than a month ago I grew  TTBVI - My first Pan grow in years:

and more recently WEZA:

For me -my best trips I've found in the last few months are from mixing 1 to 2 grams of Pans with ~15g cubies- Jedi Mind Fuck and Mazatapec are my current favs
.
I have this medication- Methylfenid (Ritalin) and I found at least for me - my last 3 trips have these incredible plateaus- Im pretty sure this stuff enhances and extends the trip.
Grooving to some Lana Del Rey-sublime!

Thank You, Sleepy Dave & Asura!!

OH BTW- These Pans were grown the BLUE Helix way.

hold up, 2g of pans and 15g of cubes so 17g total. surely thats wet weight? or are you just mixing at that amount and taking something far smaller?

No, that's dry weight- I always take these kind of doses because for some reason I'm resistant to the effects so big doses

Hey mary!

Seems like the right place to post to me. Blue Helix method works pretty damn good,
but it's not a thing that people regularly do. Happy to see it still being used.

OP has been updated with my spawn to pasteurized bulk method (Method 1), old LC method is now Method 2.

Method 1 will be what most people are familiar with.
