Asura what weight measure device you have?

The weight measurements were wrong when using my weight device, too dry, i couldn't reach field capacity.

A digital scale that is pretty spot on.
If you are following my sub recipe and it's not field capacity
there is definitely something wrong with your scale.

It's an older model of this one.

I just tested mine by filling up a 10cc/ml syringe with water. Came out to 10g so I know it's on target.

Your scale would have to be wildly inaccurate for problems to occur....like 300g or more off
in either direction.

After you mix everything up, you can always do a microwave test to calculate the percentage
of water in your sub.

Feeling silly to say this...
But silly things have happened to me from not paying attention...so Im just putting it out there....

Make sure you measuring in correct unit of measurement....
eg grams and NOT ounces

Make sure to "Tare" scale to zero with container you are measuring in before adding item to be weighed

....cause with a hangover//after a few spliffs//or just being tired its sometimes EASY to overlook the small things that can make a big difference....

This has happened not just once to me... Not silly at all IMHO.

Also, I would recommend to check with some well known weight first. I have a calibration weight of 500g. Maybe one could use 1 liter of milk or so (don't know if they sell it in 1 liter bags in the US  )

I just tested my weight scale. It seems is well calibrated, i use a 60 ml syringe and it gave me 60 grams of weight. I always use the tare function to start always at 0 grams. So i'm really baffled, idk what it could have be the problem.

Microwave test is pretty easy. Weigh about a 25-50g sample of your sub.

Microwave it in 30 sec increments and weight it. Keep microwaving until
the weight doesn't change. Everything should be completely dry.

Then calculate: 1 - ( start weight / end weight ) = % water

My guess would be, that it was not 100% dry when you weighed it, or maybe it had many sticks and stones, that would have added to the weight. Could that be?

This is great! Should be in a more prominent place on the forum (maybe it is and I just didn't see it though)

It was completely dry and pulverized.

Strange then...remains only the scale. Maybe set to oz instead of grams or something like that.
