Using mycelium to promote grows of cannabis?

Long time lurk here and finally brave enough to post for the first time, wondering if it would be possible to use mycelium to aid the growth of cannabis?
Apparently there are certain types of mycelium such as mycorrhizae that can serve a symbiotic relationship between itself and the plant.
Or, would it instead be possible to use depleted compost to aid the growth of cannabis? I'm considering growing both simultaneously.
Apologies beforehand if it's a tedious question.
Thanks!

This probably isn't the best place for such a broad question, but yes people are using fungus to benefit the cultivation of cannabis. There's a few different approaches to "natural farming". Not all of it is hard science. Check out Korean Natural Farming (KNF).

Trichoderma is well known to help pot plants.

I think trichoderma tends to cover the surface part of plants and is more benign thereby protecting the plant from worse things?
As for mycorrhizae, yeah there are a whole bunch of different species of such fungi and you need a certain match with your species of plant. So I think products available tend to contain a set of multiple species so that hopefully in plenty of cases people do get a match?
This is really as far as I know, I've been looking for such mycorrhizae myself.
But yeah if you wanna know another way a fungus (like Trich mold, not mycelium) can help the plant is with Metarhizium as a biological insecticide against certain pests.

There are products, and a lot of growing mediums for weed already have what you want in it. When you buy pea seeds often they are coated in inoculant so they have the organism growing with them from the start. For weed we use this stuff called Mycos wp, from extreme gardening, I hate the fucking marketing of all that shit, it’s a powder, not sure what’s even in it, sprinkle it in the growing medium and around the roots at transplant. It works, the plants grow, people smoke it. I can’t remember what we used it for, I think it was when we had a root aphid problem, but thought it was funny we used Bacillus Subbtilus In our drench. This is not advanced mycology

Nope its ethnobotanical garden material..
But hey i guess the joke's on us for not coming up with "more advanced ways of promoting grows of cannabis".
And yes mushroom compost is a thing.

Mycorrhizae are a class of bacteria (not fungi) that live on plant roots and at the same time, feed the plant with their waste products. Get some Great White and your roots will love it. I've grown a lot of various plants and have never heard of a beneficial fungus

Google "Define Myco"
Also, I agree. This is not an Advanced Mycology topic.

Then you are not a Jack of all trades as you claim if you are unaware of fungal/root relationship and how it allows nutrients to be more available to the plants.
Just what is your trade dude

Maybe you're unaware of the saying, but a jack of all trades is a master of none and I'm cool with that. Besides, I said I'd never heard of it, not that there aren't any fungus that are good for plants. A quick google search showed me that there are so thanks for the opportunity to learn something.

Some strains of Trichoderma are very beneficial to most cannabis strains, there are a few that completely resist all molds, in that case bacteria is your best bet. If you want to grow mushrooms for co2 production use pink oysters, they're nearly invincible.

I have a bacterial sub that has been spitting out mushrooms for 2 months. Tomorrow I am going to harvest the 3 50+ gram 7th flush honkers in it, break it up and put it in soil with earthworms and a few banana peels for potassium.
Seedling looks like this.- 15% compost 30% perlite 55% soil
Vegetative - flowering 30‰ compost 20‰ perlite 50% soil
Add 1tbsp per gallon molasses to your feed water during your 12 12 cycle. Cube compost is nearly perfect and just needs the banana peels to round it off. Peat can be added as needed for Ph adjustment.

if you place the banana in ur anus before using it in the soil you will be helping get beneficial bacteria into the soil
