Cubes too wet. Almost mushy
    #25984434 -

Just flushed out some in a bag and they were soggy as hell and barely sturdy. Just switched over to a misting spray bottle so i shouldnt have this problem anymore. curious though, would over saturated mushies effect potency or anything else negatively. Nice flush and everything just too moist. Ty!

Sounds like mold. Either that or wicked bacteria.  Got any pictures? Moldy fruits are super squishy.

Possibly . Bad growing conditions can negatively affect potency. Won't know until you try them.

They aren't sponges, washing them doesn't make them squishy. You flushed from a bag? They're either septic with bacterial or about to turn green.

I don't know any reason it would affect potency. It's probably affecting your yields though if things are drenched like that.

They looked like this brownish moist color at the bases , side pins that got too wet. The
The other pic is just the bag flushing. The ones i harvested are in dehydrator rn bottom

Side pins that soaked in bacteria. They'll be fine when you dehydrate them but they're going to shrink a lot. I would expect 5% of wet weight in yield.

They don't look so bad to me. Doesn't look like a high amount of bacteria, not seeing metabs pooling.

They don't look really saturated either, usually the whole stipe will get a few shades darker when over saturated.

I think you're fine and just a little over worried, unless there's something that bag's hiding I can't make out.

2 flushes from bacterial spawn is average. Bags are a great place to build bacteria, bad place to fruit.

Thanks for the input. I think ill shy away from bags. Mono way to go i feel, i cannot drain water that gets trapped under substrate in unicorn bags, and i really dont like that. With tubs the garbage bag is snug and excess water can be tilted out. Glad i switched to a misting spray bottle. So i can get the top of sub nice and wet without excess water on the sides.

My old bags that are on second flush are not bacterial at all. That i do know. Ive been at this for 8 years and can usually spot bacterial grain. Just wanted to know if it effected potency really. First time with bags. Probably be the last 😂

Just isolate any known contaminated substrates and they won't spread.

Theyve all looked like that for weeks. With zero contamination. Whenever youve had bacterial in a tub in the past what did it do for you? For me it slows down mycelium growth, not continually flushes out boomers.  I could be wrong tho.

Slow/sparse growth, puddles of metabs, stunk, succumbed to other molds quick and easy.

The people who pmd me about you just now were right. Terrible advice and terrible ratings. Wont acknowledge when corrected it says. Peace dude. I cant have that kinda negativity around me. It may effect yield and potency 😂😂

Actually I'm the one who said that. afaik if your grow is sickly and barely putting up some scragly shrooms, they aren't growing to their full potential and a lower potency due to bad growing conditions is a possibility.

That said and looking at your shrooms, they don't look weak and scragly, I wouldn't even worry about it in this case.

I know you said it and thank you for your words. i wasnt trying to be sarcastic. Im superstitious. If i view a contamiated grain jar online i spray ozium in the air lol.
Bad and negative advice, I gotta get away from 😂😂
The bottoms felt weak and soggy, so i was nervous but now i feel better about the situation haha. have a great night!!(:

Thanks for the troll thread. Would've helped if you said the bottoms were soggy and not just post a pic of side pins in muck. Good luck.
