Hey Shroomery, haven't been here for years.

I'm still single, if anyone knows...I've been single since 2006.  I've had plenty of hookups through dating sites but man that's not getting me anywhere.  In fact, I don't enjoy the hookups at all.

I think the best site is actually Facebook Dating, but I still never seem to find the one I'm searching for...

You know him, possibly might even be someone like you, just a quiet stoner mushroom guy.  Open minded super sweet and likes cuddling.  I'm not perfect, I have mental illness issues and I don't expect him to be either.  But I'm getting old, I'm 36 now, I just feel like it ain't ever gonna happen.

Anyway, I still have no idea how to meet them either.  They're not even in my daily lifestyle.  Nobody is though, because I still have no friends.  ha what am I even doing with my life...

I just wanted to also say that yes this has been an incredibly long and lonely time for me.  Like when is it ever going to be my turn to have a relationship that satisfies me.  I hate having to take my clothes off in order to have someone want to hug me or touch me.

Finding someone who aligns with this lifestyle is not the easiest but dont focus on how how long things are taking... look at the quality of relationships you are entering. In order to get different results you have to do things differently. Including, how you think. Love yourself first everything else will follow.

Well if you’re attractive enough to get some play off tinder then it isn’t your looks that are the problem.  I suspect......you’re the type where you’re always down on yourself?  Sometimes people who do that defeat themselves before the game starts.

I don’t hit bars and shit for potential S.O.s either so there’s down periods for having someone around.  Instead of doing the 3 dates and you bang template of dating try finding one social thing like a hobby or some thing where you’re around people for awhile.  The game is, find something that you picture your target as doing... the goal is to find a room where everybody conducts themselves like what you’re looking for, that you will spend time with no pressure, find the good looking one... boom.  That way you can feel each other out without expectation and theeeeen flip the switch to bumping uglies.

What all do you like doing?

I happen to fit that description :lol: But i live the US. Do u live in a small town? Perhaps move to a bigger city or a city known for shrooming, not sure if they exist in Canada but they do in the US.

Go camping, to festivals, events, etc... if there’s anything in your town that attracts hippies or good music I’m sure you could find your soulmate. Sometimes it just takes a little time and perseverance. The right one will come along when you least expect it. Just do what you love and the one you love will do you. Or meet you I mean... lol

yeah i think mad hatter has got it....
  i have similar problem just can't find the right person so now I'm only going for common interests angle so i meet even less people now that sucks. I've moved town,country,city,country and back in the city stopped smoking buds for a while coz thought that might be my problem but use cbd oil tho. I've found most chicks don't like smoking. but not mushies lol they're too good, was really to hard stop was the only thing keeping me going, but a change in scene helps.
sometimes i think life is trying to teach me something but i never realise what it is and thats why but thats just the stupid stoner in me. I've just moved to canberra and know no-one only my sister and her partner but they don't count in my eyes. so i keep my head up when i can try and improve myself and the world i live in. if not for me for all the small little creatures and plants no one cares about hoping one day it all falls into place for me. its a road you can't see the end of and have no idea where it goes. ill be your mate i need a shroom buddy pm me some time for a chat if you want. only just made an account on this site and been ganddering all the threads on the site theres some mad shit on here, I've been out on the hunt and need some help on identifying my batch of mushies they look right but are a different species to what im use to so need some clarity you might know check it out?. anyways keep your head up you'll find him

I met my brilliant cute shroomy Canadian guy on a dating site. We are in your age range too.... I found that my unique mindset and attitude gets a lot of attention from men, & never had a shortage of suitors. I guess it helps that I'm aging well & looking hot these days (by my own beauty standards at least).

It was just a struggle to find the right match. It needed to feel kismet and magical to me. My advice is to stop wasting time on hook ups or going on dates with anyone who raises red flags. Music festivals and shows have been great ways to meet men, especially volunteering. I also volunteer at a community radio station where I meet a lot of interesting like minded folk. You get out of life what you put in, so step up and make it happen.

Hi, im Nick.  So i saw your post last night and it pretty much blew my mind when I read it. I hope your sincere about what you said. Uuuuummm so yeah i really am not sure what im doing but i have to see.  At the risk of sounding desperate or just saying the same things to sleaze my way in to your pants, like im sure you have to deal with creepy guys games and dick picks online.  But anyway ill be 39 at the end of july, and i know exactly what your going through , only im coming from a guy that wants to go home to his planets perspective. I think that we should at least try and communicate Even if only once, it will be worth the effort and i seriously think if you didnt get the chance to hear my thoughts and see who i am and that i am genuine and probably fit with your description of the guy you cant find.  Im looking for that same chick.
