Hi my dried libs have white spots on, just wondering if they're still safe to eat ??

Were the spots there before you dried them? What was your drying process?
it looks like mycelium but can't say for sure...

I don't think they were on them before drying, I air dried them on paper then stored them in an air tight container with a packet of silica

Oh man never use silica. ive herd many horror stories.
Always dry with hot moving air in a tight place, like a dehydrator.

Are they cracker dry? like 100%??

Yes left over mycelium is fine to eat, we want it to be mycelium.

Yes they were cracker dry when I put them in the air tight container, I only put a packet of silica in with them to stop any excess moisture, it wasn't loose silica just one of those little packs you get when you but a new suitcase or something

They should be ok, just make tea with boiling hot water if your unsure.

Never seen dried libs look like that before. They prob will be fine but personally I’d pass. They don’t look good :shrug:
