Just use the line out from the sound card into the audio in of a radio with a tape player.

Tried that bomb,all i get is a faint sound.I tried hooking a little amplifier in between my sound card and the sterio,but it sounded like shit,it was a amplifier that goes between a magnetic cartrage record player,and the amp.Any other sugestions?I have all this mp3 music,and i cant take it anywhere..........

you need to give us more info. what kind of sound card you're using, what kind of mp3 player you're playing the tracks on, etc. also, have you looked at the windows volume control? sometimes, the general volume and the wave volume are set at different levels...

struk,this is what i have in this thing now,i am using the real playerg2 for playback,and i have set my masters all the way up,including the wave volume,but it only helps when i have the external computer speakers hooked to it.I dont know,mabye i have a bad patch cord,but i hook it up to other things and it sounds fine?

alright, then at least you know that its not your computer/sound card that's screwing up. it probably is your patch cord or whatever you're hooking the cord up to thats causing the problems. i'm not sure what kind of cord you have now, but i do the same thing with my system and i bought a 'Y' cable. its a headphone plug on one end and then splits into a duak rca plug on the other (hence, looks like a Y). i suggest you head to your closest radio shack and pick another up for a couple bucks. if it still doesn't work then you know that its the stereo that's causing the problem.

struk,i am using a y cord,but the funny thing is,if i hook up the same cord and sterio to a portible cd player,it works fine,mama mia,why cant i just get a cd burner.........thanks struk;]
