I hear ya, makes sense. If this psilocybin decriminalization happens in CO, I think I will finally be moving out there. I almost did it 4 years ago but moved to FL instead. It would be hard to justify staying here if that passed.

Cops? Dealers? Who? Alot of the problem is that theyre looking for crack and shit and the ghetto dealers tend to sell $5 weed bags along with alll that shit. Including real og dusted cigs (not rc's, just real pcp), guns, whatever. They have delis where people just sell these things 24/7. Most people just buy a bunch of nickel bags, which are like a gram of 10% thc

Id be more worried about getting shot. East or west coast. But the "drug game" has different ways of working i guess on the two coasts. Though i bet in the ghettos its prolly more or less equal.

I really do think its completely unfair to not have federal legalization. Why should 10 states have such amazing MJ business and the rest of the country is out to dry, maybe legal CBD if youre lucky. Not everyone has black market connects. And some dont use cannabis simply cause they dont wanna talk to dealers

The fake poison pens alone should make this a priority but i never read a single news story that seriously covers this problem (unless its Leafly, which isnt mainstream news at all)

I think based on his record hed rather just fuck with drug policy (like jeff sessions, maybe worse) than any kind of monopoly, unless you mean a monopoly where its just alcohol being legal and harder and harder to get rx drugs. To the point where its fucking inhumane and i panic the day before at least one big pharmacy has to fill my shit, cause last two months they were days late and i was left with nothing, it was hell. Twice in a row. Fuck these franchise pharmacies. They dont care if youre suffering

As long as they follow their DEA rules and charge the fuck out of you. And you cant even just bypass insurance anymore if they keep denying shit. Last time theyre like "oh sorry we have one pill left. We SHOULD have more tomorrow, but ill let you know. Until then, keep withdrawing, heres that half day dose for you, its $3" (not even kidding)

And these pharmacists are told to never keep someone in benzo wd. I have anxiety issues where i cant wait an extra few days casually for my meds

Quite literally. Kinda fascist pill dispensaries id say. At least cannabis dispensaries are usually trying to be "caregivers" and theyre not gonna leave you without something as long as its not just completely illegal (like a state where they can only sell 3 types of products, etc)

You could be in hell and if the computer says to keep you there, they will.

Meanwhile those assholes take pills anytime they know a camera isnt watching, they might even short customers

And if you come back a few days later and realize youre short, theyre not gonna believe you. And anyway it shouldnt be so that you have to wait till youre almost out to get more meds. Shit happens and especially now i notice pharmacies might have to give you a prescription on day X, and they promise itll be ready ahead of time, but by the time youre allowed to get it "sorry we're out, heres one pill that was left over, more will delivered on monday"

Then on monday "sorry, they forgot that one. Is your doctor in so they can call a different pharmacy? Not today? Oh, sorry"

Electronic scripts and the database shit has made things RIDICULOUS and unsafe

Actually my pharmacist is incredible where I can talk about IV, non prescribed uses the opiod crisis, etc and he holds a really good conversation. He actually let me know when that Asian lady dr in social got involuntary manslaughter charged how controlled scripts across the board were being reduced and not just opiods.

If you even ALLUDED to say, crushing up an adderall at my pharmacy, or really any in the area (the big ones at least). Theyd prolly have a meeting before knowing whether to give you your meds or not

And youd be marked a red flag patient/customer or whatever. But also its an area with alot of people using opioids. Not so much rx anymore though, everyone's been pushed off OC's onto fent-dope by now if not on suboxone. Most people dont even really know much about kratom and its too weak for them or whatever

Yeah dealers literally push dope right in front of my pharmacy with a methadone clinic next door. It's a central spot in a big city so anyone whos local will know where I'm talking about. They are a bit more educated here and are concerned more with diversion rather than misuse

Highlights.

Police say Gary Anderson, 68, has two prior DUI convictions and his license has been suspended since 1978.
