A movie is to be experienced; the audience should become absorbed. I can become the Jerk of the World when it comes to irritating noise destracting my attention; I'll turn around and say something that'll scare the shit out of any listener. "See that EXIT door down there? Do you know how long it would take me to beat you severely then walk gracefully over to that door and leave a free man? Shut the fuck up...please."
Yeah, I've heard a lot about this kind of thing but for the most part I've been lucky. I can remember one time where I had to move my seat because there were a couple kids sitting next to me during Waterworld. One of the kids had already seen the movie and was saying "Oh, watch this!...Wait til you see what happens now." There is nothing more annoying than that so I moved.
One time a bunch of us went to see a movie and it was the first time we met one of my friend's girlfriends and we are sitting in the movie theater during the previews and a couple of us are talking about how nice the girl seemed when suddenly she stood up and turned around to face a couple sitting behind us. "Shut the fuck up before I kick your ass!"
“Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle. The real extent of this state of misinformation is known only to those who are in situations to confront facts within their knowledge with the lies of the day.” -- Thomas Jefferson
The greatest sin of mankind is ignorance.
The press takes [Trump] literally, but not seriously; his supporters take him seriously, but not literally. --Salena Zeto (9/23/16)
