How long will my cakes last in the jar?
    #25965274 - 04/30/19 10:01 PM (5 years, 8 months ago)

Hello to all you helpful people,
Noob here. Some cakes are colonizing currently and I believe they will be ready to be birthed in about two weeks. My problem is, due to poor planning..I am leaving for a month long road trip across the states in a week. I have read that putting them into the fridge will help slow down colonization, but will a month be too long in the fridge? Any suggestions are welcome. Photo is of my cakes currently.

That's not going to make it 2 weeks. That's a mess you have going man.

Before you leave break them up and spawn them to a tub. It should be harvest time when you get home.

Word good idea. I’ll do that with a few and then maybe just birth the rest and take em with me. I’ve been having a pretty hard time getting my cakes to fruit so if I fail it won’t be anything new :frown:
