First BRF cakes, Did I get mold? * 1
    #25962794 - 04/29/19 02:33 PM (5 years, 8 months ago)

Hello everyone, I am about to put my first brf cakes into the dunk and I noticed some bluing once I started to rinse off the dry verm layer.  I checked them every few days and didn't see any discoloration nor was there any till I put the cakes under the sink.  It was only when I removed the dry verm layer and started to rinse it off I started to see some bluing. The blue color is much more pronounced when wet as well. I don't know if this is something else other than mold but I just want to be safe than sorry. Thanks in advance.

Just bruising, which is totally normal after being handled. I'd dunk and roll and proceed to fruiting chamber.

You're good to go. Don't forget to roll the sides.
