Opinions on my sub?

I just finished these all on Saturday. Anyway, I don't know why but all of a sudden i was looking at them and wondering to myself if I didnt use enough coir
This is 1:1.
But the sub looks pretty small. The grains are already colonizing the coir well. I'm just wondering if this might be a problem or I'm just being over picky.

While I’ve only been growing for a few months, I’m pretty sure it’ll fruit no matter how much coir you use. I’ve eyeballed small tubs and big tubs and got fruits from them all. Looking good dude! Good luck 👍
I just harvested from a tub exactly like yours a couple days ago. That I eyeballed the coir/verm on.
 both eyeballed

Yeah this is my second project. Took some time off learning how to clone and use agar and clean up cultures. So that's what I did with these. Nice clean spawn, that are clones and a strain I cleaned up very well on agar.
So I'm excited to see how they produce compared to my last project. Ive done everything to the book.. I just wanted to make sure that my sub depth is decent for good results still.
Thanks for the reply my man!

When I was reading mushboys shoebox thread (can’t remember what page) but I think they consensus was 2-3 inches? When I did my first boxes I used 4 half pint jars grated up.
I was trying to get to the equivalent of 1 quart spawn.
I think you’re golden pony boy, don’t let that one comment about the depth mess with you any longer lol

I know. Look what you've done to me!!! Lmfao. It's all good dude. I'm just being a petty fuck right now because of all the time I put into cleaning up these cultures

You good. Those are a little skinnier than what my 1quart boxes grow at. As said, don't let that comment mess you up, you're doing great here.
IF (see how that's a big if?) there's anything that will happen as a result it will be a sharp decrease in weights after the first flush (like 30%+~), and possibly not even making it past flush 3. Most people would say that you should dump after the first flush or two anyways, so I wouldn't worry.
You want to know about an unspoken benefit to low subs? You can keep those lids on and latched until you harvest. I usually do 3pt at 1:2 these days (so a total of 3 quarts material, fills a shoebox about 35%-40% since myco quarts aren't proper quarts) and I only have to unlatch my lids for the last day or two. Often I don't even catch my mushrooms in time to unlatch the lid, all that happens is bent-necked shrooms. Keeping the lid latched as long as possible makes better mushrooms in shoeboxes! (by better I mean growing conditions)

Thank you very much! I'm trying lol. I appreciate the reply. I also did run that scenario in my head. As you can see, I had to stack a few of them because I ran out of shelf room. So that can most definitely be a perk! Haha.
Making me feel better :]

I've run shoeboxes two deep like that. They will not flush on the same day, even if you spawned them all at the same time they'll stagger over 1-3 days because environment. I kept the ones that were furthest from veil-breaking on the bottom, and the closest on the top. I'd unlatch the lid the morning of the evening I'd harvest them usually. It takes a bit more monitoring of them when you run it two deep, but not much lol. Can't wait to see your results!

Shaper, I think he was asking about the depth of the sub in the tub. It looks like it’s only about in inch deep or so, or I could be wrong. What were you asking about Vibe, the sub or the stack tubs?
