The Battle of Winter

The battle of winter takes place today, everything has been leading up to this moment.
Thoughts, theories, concerns, screams of anguish?!?
It might be clear now that’s they have written anything and everything interesting about the books out of the show at this point but I’m still gonna fan girl over it.
The age of fire is over and the age of water has dawned.
“Archmaester Rigney once wrote that history is a wheel, for the nature of man is fundamentally unchanging. What has happened before will perforce happen again, he said.” - Rodrik Harlaw

I’m looking forward to tonight’s episode and I’m not sure what will happen?
I’m hoping arya’s Wolf and pack show up this episode. The first two episodes were a let down after waiting 2 years. I love the the show but it’s killing me slowly

The Winds of Winter are here leaving us with only A Dream of Spring.
“Thousands of years ago, there came a night that lasted a generation. Kings froze to death in their castles, same as the shepherds in their huts; and women smothered their babies rather than see them starve, and wept, and felt the tears freeze on their cheeks... In that darkness the White Walkers came for the first time. They swept through cities and kingdoms, riding their dead horses, hunting with their packs of pale spiders big as hounds.” - Old Nan

I drank it last weekend for the episode
Was very good! It's a golden ale fermented with pinot grigio and viogner grape juice
Tasted like a nice golden ale with a hint of grapesy finish
Gonna get something good for tonight

I highly recommend it, if you have any free time at all, you should be atleast watching the show, but the books are on an entirely different plane, Martin’s world building is unrivaled.

I had to upgrade to a better version of the streaming service I have to see this season and the previous one. Sucks though because this higher tier doesn't seem to add anything else good. But this season is really cool so far.
