I got some shrooms growin in a shed with no AC. Usually its not too hot and theres some airflow up in dat bihh
But today I finny watered dem shits and its 85-90 degrees out hya. I was in der for 3 mins and I was sweatin like a mofo.
Da mycelium look healthy af except theres some blobs of aerial mycelium poppin off.
Am I good or should I be tweakin...

Lol it looks like ur already tweakin jk
Imo they should be fine. That's the weather that they grow in in the wild. and people do out door patches all the time in those conditions or hotter. I would make double sure that u have good air movement tho. That's probably why ur getting some aerial mycelium.
I have only ever grown in doors so wait for some else opion too but I think if u up the air movement u should be fine

They won't grow at 90. They die at around a 106 if I'm not mistaken. Good luck on your yard grow bro. Definitely hope it works out for you.

Shrooms will most definitely grow at 90f. They grow in fields without shade on even hotter days.
Got pics bruh? Dont worry about the feds. Keep it easy and chill with the breeze mang.

Cubensis do not grow in the wild at 90 degrees, they will stall above 90 at home. Pans, Gyms and some other varieties grow in the heat but not cubes. There is a reason we grow them at room temperature. He's in the joint so probably not going to get a picture ever and yeah the feds are watching him.
It would be easier to help if we new what species he is growing.

Cubes grow between 66 and 86 degrees, a few degrees higher or lower they will stall. Go make some substrate, bring it to 110 degrees and mix your spawn with it. Tell me I'm wrong. You have literally thread after thread here on these forums about optimal incubation temps which are not 86 and fruiting temperature which is room temp. OP is growing God knows what in a shed on a yard. The mods should really delete this entire thread before he gets caught. Just saying.
You know yard? Penitentiary? Dude.

You know substrates produce their own heat right? So 90 degrees outside a substrate outside a container is well over 100 inside the container. Put your hand in a monotub or hold a jar. It feels warmer than the outside air. At 86, the inside of the jar is above 96, so that right there contradicts that it can't go above 90. If you say a few degrees higher it stalls, then it actually stalls above 100..

It begins to die at 106, that's in the biological sense of cell degradation, growth retardation occurs well before. Incubate some jars at 90, get back to us when they mold.

They won't mold in jars with proper filters. You said it yourself that contams aren't ninjas I believe. They will get bacterial tho from endospore germination.
I actually have grown in 90°+ during major heat waves. Shit colonized and fruited fine. Just hella lanky hollow af fruits

You're right, I'm being a bit ridiculous. I'm just trying to get the point across to the OP that in another month when it's 120 in that death shed his mushies are toast. And everyone that comes in telling him to move them are wasting their time. And the mods should delete this post before the actual feds read it when dude gets caught.

It's not the same. Fruiting substrates are able to cool themselves through evaporation as long as they're getting enough fresh air and don't dry out.

If the feds are on his dick.. I'm sure it's not for mushrooms.
I don't even think cops think of mushrooms ever being a problem nor do I think they even know what they're looking at.
